| Freshman House Democrats Who Stood With Russ To End The War
While the American people have demanded immediate action to redeploy
our troops out of Iraq, too many in Congress have failed to heed our
call. However, there are a number of Democrats in Congress that
supported Russ's efforts to end one of the greatest mistakes in the
history of our country.
These members voted for HR. 2237 - McGovern Amendment (Roll #330 on
May 10, 2007). This amendment would provide for the immediate
redeployment of our troops out of Iraq to begin within 90 days and be
completed within 180 days after enactment, in addition to prohibiting
any future funds from being used to further deploy U.S. forces to Iraq
unless specifically authorized by Congress.
Below are 20 freshman Democrats who stood with Russ. Click here
to help the Progressive Patriots Fund raise $20,000 so that we can
stand with them and contribute $1,000 to each of these distinguished
Democrats.

After lacking pretty much each of the 2008 season using a knee harm, quarterback Tom Brady was back in 2009, and he helped lead the new England Patriots to an additional division title. The Patriots completed the regular season which has a 10-6 record, and eight of people wins came in your house, where by the Pats ran the table. An harm to star vast receiver Wes Welker was certainly a consider New England's embarrassing playoff reduction, further emphasizing how precious his presence is to this team. If Welker can return wholesome, the Patriots have enough items to best the AFC East yet again, nonetheless it is not going to be effortless while using emergence of the Jets and Dolphins.
Offense: Tom Great played properly in his first season back subsequent major knee surgical procedure. He finished the 12 months with 4,398 yards and 28 touchdowns with 13 interceptions even though assisting New England boast the third-best passing offense within the NFL. In all, the Patriots ranked No. 6 from the league when it comes to scoring offense, averaging 26.7 factors per video game. Matching last season's offensive figures will mostly depend on Welker's well-being. Welker is expected to be all set to go in Week 1, however the Pats have additional Torry Holt and David Patten for protection. In only 14 video games previous season, Welker caught 123 passes for 1,348 yards. He flat out moves the sticks. Randy Moss might have misplaced a move of two, but I'm a company believer inside saying "the numbers will not lie". Moss finished with 83 catches for 1,1264 yards and 13 touchdowns very last period. You can find place for advancement in the running recreation, and that enhancement could come if Fred Taylor is able to keep healthier.
Defense: When final year's protection wasn't as dominant as being the ones in the previous that highlighted Jarvis Green, Tedy Bruschi, Richard Seymour and Mike Vrable, it nevertheless completed No. 5 from the NFL in scoring protection, letting only 17.8 details per recreation. Having said that, it may be tough to duplicate very last season's figures with all the additions division rivals Ny and Miami have made to bolster their passing game titles. Significant Vince Wilfork is back again to carry down the fortin up front, but move rushers will need to emerge all around him for New England to stay a major notch defensive team. Linebacker Tully Banta-Cain led the Patriots with 10 sacks previous yr, but no one else on the roster had in excess of 5. Anyone is going to have to help Banta-Cain and Wilfork in the move rush or New England could wind up enabling more than the 209.7 yards per video game it gave up by the air final season.
