National Priorities Survey - Domestic Policy

Since we formed the Progressive Patriots Fund, we've focused on promoting a progressive reform agenda - at home and abroad. Last month, we asked you for your thoughts on a progressive foreign policy agenda. Now, with our new Democratic Congress, we're looking for your input on our nation's domestic policy.

Please take a moment to fill out the survey below and let us know where we should focus our efforts with regard to domestic policy in the new Congress.

1. Do you believe that we need fundamental healthcare reform in our country and that each and every one of us should be guaranteed affordable healthcare?*

2. How important is lobbying reform to ensure a fair and honest government?*
3. Do you believe that raising the minimum wage is essential to help families succeed?*
4. How important is it to protect Social Security from privatization?*
5. Do you believe that future trade agreements should provide basic protection for US workers, minimum standards for foreign labor, and strong environmental safeguards?*
6. Should Americans be allowed to purchase less expensive drugs from Canada?*
7. Do you believe the "No Child Left Behind" law has improved the education system in the United States?*
8. What steps do you think Congress can take to move the United States towards energy independence?

9. How do you think the federal government should best protect our environment?
10. What do you think should be the top priority of the 110th Congress and why?
