I'm Britt Conroy, I'm from Oregon, and I just finished grad school in Forced Migration - essentially refugee and immigration studies. My electoral campaign experience is limited to a brief stint as a volunteer with the Democratic Party in Philly in 2004, though I have done some grassroots advocacy work. With OSPIRG in Portland I worked on a project to pressure Oregon's governor to clean up the state's main waterway, and in Senegal I helped a human rights group carry out public awareness-building activities and lobby government officials.
