My name is Jodi Kreuser, and I am from Wisconsin, hailing from the great city of Wausau. I grew up in the area, spent a few years in Minnesota, and returned to be closer to my family. I've been attending UW Marathon most recently, and am postponing my transfer to UW Madison until January. As for my political background, I really dived during the '04 elections, serving as a ward leader and helping with various field work for Russ's and Kerry's campaigns. I have spent the past four years as a program director at our local volunteer center, and am looking forward to bringing these experiences to the table as well.
September 27, 2006 - CT Update
Working as a Patriot Corps member in one of the most exciting senatorial races in the country has been an amazing experience thus far. As a 4th CD field organizer in Connecticut, I also have the great fortune to work with many talented and passionate staff. Though the days (and nights!) are long, they fly by as we work on volunteer recruitment, running phone banks, voter outreach, organizing and attending events, participating in Democratic Town Committee meetings, coordinating with other campaigns, and developing GOTV plans. It is great to be part of the larger effort to help elect progressive candidates, knowing that this is a historical time as we take our country back, and return to the values that have made us a great nation. I am especially looking forward to celebrating victory with everyone on November 7th!
